MSSWA REGION 2A SPRING MEETING
ART AS THERAPY
FRIDAY, APRIL 1st 12-3pm
Coming back together after being apart for so long has been stressful on so many levels, including concern for personal and family health; restoring paused relationships; and looking at the world in new ways. Taking care of ourselves while caring for others has taken on more meaning than ever before. This 1-hour workshop is designed to focus on self-care, connecting with colleagues and professional team building. Hands on art experientials and activities will engage each participant and encourage creative ways of being together again. All art supplies will be furnished. The art activity/presentation will start at 12:00 and will go for approx. 60-90 minutes. Please be a little early. Location of the meeting is Phileo’s Coffee and Eatery, 212 10th Street, Worthington Lunch is on your own. If you want to eat before our activity, please arrive at least 30 minutes before we are starting. Online ordering is available by downloading the clover app. Dessert will be provided by Region 2A in the afternoon along with a time to connect. New School Social Work Shirts will be available to purchase. Cost is $20 for non-members and $10 for members. Please RSVP as there are only 12 spots guaranteed due to materials needing to be purchased. If we need to increase this number we can. Register by 3/29. Thank you.
