Keynote Presentation: "Advocacy and Allyship to Support LGBTQ+ Youth"
This Keynote is intended to provide educators and youth-serving professionals with the competency and confidence to ensure LGBTQ+ youth are in spaces where they are supported, valued and have the opportunity to learn and grow free from bullying, violence, and harassment. The presentation will provide foundational information and data to support youth-serving professional advocacy, dispel common misconceptions about including LGBTQ+ topics in schools and increase confidence by role-playing common scenarios that require a response from students and families.
