Book Club & Spring 2024 Meetings!

What: Convenient, continuing education and networking opportunities.

It’s simple: 

• Register 
• Buy (or win!) the book: Evidence Based Practice in School Mental Health: Addressing DSM-5 Disorders in Schools (SSWAA Workshop Series) 2nd Edition.
  
• Read half of the book, then meet virtually over lunch to discuss the book (late winter)
• Read the last half of the book, meet in person or virtually in the spring to discuss the book and network
• Get 12 Clinical CEU’s and connections with social workers across the region/state.  

Where:

Meeting 1:- Wednesday March 20th, 2024 11:30AM-12:30PM (come having read approx. half the book-specific chapter/page numbers to be sent out with Google Meet link after you register).

Meeting 2: In person (date & location TBD)

or Virtual (May 6, 2024  11:30AM - 12:30PM)

To join the book club and receive the CEU’s upon completion of the book click HERE

Cost to register:

$10 (Region 10 members) or $65 (Non-members Region 10);

$30 MSSWA members outside of Region 10 or $95 for Non-members outside Region 10

Everyone registered will be entered into a drawing for a free copy of the book club book (more details to come) 
Winners of a free copy will be notified and mailed a copy of the book approximately 1 week after registration closes
If you do not win a copy of the book, you are responsible for purchasing the book on your own. 
Registered book club’ers will be sent further details on meeting dates.
